(Analysis for waste minimization & pollution-prevention skills) You are cordially invited to attend a workshop on “PROCESS MODELING AND OPTIMIZATION OF SMALL BIOENERGY SYSTEMS (Analysis for waste minimization & pollution-prevention skills)” covering all aspects of process development, design, economics and the viability of implementing bio-energy projects in small-to-medium enterprises. Bio-energy and process engineers, developers, technology companies, research scholars and graduate students are all welcome to attend. The workshop is hosted by Asian University, Thailand, with the support of UFRN (The Federal University of Brazil).

LOCATION

| The University is located in Huay Yai Tambon, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province on Highway 331, between km markers 116 and 117 (between Sattahip and Chachoengsao.) There are several roads to Pattaya (about 30 km) and Jomtien (about 15 km). Bangkok is only about 130 km away. |

HOW TO GET TO ASIAN UNIVERSITYFrom Bangkok Via Sukhumvit Road (Bang Na-Trat Road) * Take Sukhumvit Road to Bang Na intersection and turn left on to the Bang Na - Trat Road.
* Take your choice of the elevated Bang Na - Bang Pakong Expressway (safer for 55 Bht) or the at-grade highway below it.
* Continue straight on through Chonburi, Nong Mon, Sriracha, Laem Chabang, until you see an overpass which would take you into Pattaya. Do not go on the overpass.
* Follow the sign "to Rayong" by turning left into highway #36. Keep going for about 15 km. passing under Highway #331, then make a U-turn, followed by a left turn on to highway #331 heading towards Sattahip.
* Continue on Highway #331 for ~7.5 km. and find Asian U entrance on your right soon after passing Kilometre marker #116. From Bangkok Via the Bangkok - Chonburi Motorway
From Bangkok Via Sukhumvit Road (Bang Na-Trat Road) * Get on to the Rama 9 Road at any point and proceed east to continue on to the Bangkok - Chonburi Motorway.
* Continue along the Motorway through the Panthong Toll Plaza.
* Follow the sign "to Pattaya" by turning left into the Motorway extension.
* IMPORTANT: Ignore all signs pointing left "to Highway #331". It is a long winding and dangerous route through the industrial area with 2-lane heavy commercial traffic.
* At the end of the motorway extension follow the sign "to Rayong" by taking the leftmost ramp on to highway #36.
* Keep going for ~8.5 km. passing under Highway #331, then make a U-turn, followed by a left turn on to highway #331 heading towards Sattahip.
* Continue on Highway #331 for ~7.5 km. and find the Asian U entrance on your right soon after passing Kilometre marker #116.
From Bangkok North Via Chachoengsao * Find Highway #331 and keep following directions to Sattahip.
* After passing Kilometre marker #116 about 500 m. further on you will find the Asian U entrance on your right.
From Rayong Via Highway #36 * Find Highway #36 and keep following directions to Bangkok, Pattaya and Chonburi.
* At the grade-separated junction with Highway #331 turn left to follow the direction to Sattahip.
* After passing Kilometre marker #116 about 500 m. further on you will find the Asian U entrance on your right.
From Rayong Via Highway #3 (Coast Road) * Find Highway #3 and keep following directions to Sattahip.
* At the Queen Sirikit Hospital intersection, turn right on to Highway #331.
* After passing Kilometre marker #117 about 500 m. further on you will find the Asian U entrance on your left.
